HOT AIR BALLOON RIDE

We get up early in the morning to live one of the most exciting experiences you can ever imagine: ballooning over Umbria! Not just an unquestionably privileged point of view to observe the beauty of the region, but also an extraordinary adventure to be kept forever. At the end of the ride, we’ll enjoy a large breakfast with tasting of typical products and wines at a renowned winery in the Assisi area.

TRUFFLE HUNTING

Truffle hunting in Umbria is an old age tradition. Umbria produces the highest number of black truffles in Italy, whose quality is famous throughout the world. Truffles are an integral part of Umbrian cuisine and culture. That of the truffle hunter, is a hard work made of deep love for the land, intelligent observation, waiting and great satisfaction. We will take advantage of his wise guide, assisted by an incomparable four-legged scout, to learn the secrets of this noble tuber, through a naturalistic path of great beauty. And for those who still have some questions at the end of the hunt? Do not worry, the experience can only end with a delicious truffle-based tasting* that will dissolve any doubt!

RIVER RAFTING

Rafting is certainly one of the most fun and exciting activities to live in Umbria. Aboard an unsinkable raft, we launch ourselves into an adventurous descent on the streams, pushed by water currents, through places of great naturalistic interest otherwise inaccessible: rock walls, waterfalls, woods and large meadows. Back from the adventure, we’ll have some delicious refreshment!

HORSEBACK RIDING

After a brief introduction to horseback riding and approaching with this noble animal, a relaxing horseback ride will begin along the enchantment of the Franciscan path through landscapes of uncontested beauty, spirituality, and fragments of precious history unique in the world. Back from the ride, we’ll enjoy a tasting of traditional Umbrian cuisine.

We start our cooking class with a fun shopping experience at a traditional local market. Our guide will take us on a walk through the colorful stalls in search of the freshest ingredients for the preparation of today's dish: lasagna!!! It will be up to you to evaluate the quality of the products, bargain the price and make sure you buy everything on the list, but do not worry, we will help you! We then bring our shopping into the kitchen and we begin cooking ... we are so confident in your skills, that the lasagna you will prepare will be the main course of our lunch, buon appetito!

Pleasant experience to enrich your time at Lake Trasimeno, the largest of Central Italy, beautiful body of water, surrounded by natural landscapes of great beauty, ancient villages and historic houses. In just 30/40 minutes of kayaking, you can reach the shores of Isola Polvese, and dock your canoe to enjoy a scenic walk or get refreshed swimming in the beautiful waters of the lake.

THE SECRETS OF THE FARM, THE BUFFALO MOZZARELLA

We visit the only farm in Umbria specialized in breeding and processing of buffalo milk. The characteristics of the Umbrian pastures combined with the centenary experience in the transformation of the milk produced in the company, give a unique taste and flavour to the most renowned dairy product of our country: the mozzarella! Surrounded by the green Umbrian hills, in direct contact with the animals, we discover the secrets of the processing of buffalo milk - between ancient techniques, handed down from father to son, and modern technologies - up to the finished product: mozzarella, ricotta, scamorza, caciotta and many other delicacies. At the end a delicious tasting.

GOURMET PICNIC AMONG THE OLIVE TREES

Finger foods, panini, savory pies, fresh cooked pastas, cold cuts, fine wines, organic fruit juices, panzanella, homemade bread and sweets are only some of the delicacies you will enjoy during this gourmet picnic! The natural setting among the olive trees, and the appointments thought out down to the smallest detail, will top off this nice experience satisfying both your palate and sight! 

COOKING LAB, THE OLD NORCINERIA ART

That of the norcino, is an ancient craft, and Umbria, in particular, has managed to make it a real culinary art renowned since Roman times. We’ll visit a prestigious farm in the area to learn its secrets: history of pork, anatomy of the pig, basic techniques of cutting the pig, processing of meat up to the production of sausages, preservation and salting of meat. At the end of the lab, a well-deserved tasting* of our work!

ATV ADVENTURE

Super fun experience to explore the Umbrian countryside, riding mud, stones, water, …your quad does not ask for anything better! No special driving skills are required: after the first few meters you will be able to drive confidently, and you will never want to get off the saddle!

Your guide will take you for an easy naturalistic route. 

SPEEDBOAT TOUR OF LAKE TRASIMENO

An exclusive point of view to admire the beauty of Lake Trasimeno, the largest in central Italy. You will spend three unforgettable hours on board a luxury speedboat with a professional skipper, through foam trails, naturalistic landscapes of incomparable beauty, historical houses, adventurous maneuvers, moments of fun and relaxation. During the journey, we’ll take a stop for a short visit to Isola Maggiore or Isola Polvese. On board a rich aperitif will top off this vip style experience! Back from the excursion, we’ll enjoy a seafood lunch at a local restaurant (optional).

Also the gastronomy of the region offers lots of delicacies certified as DOC and DOP by quality level. The excursion will take you to the deepest secrets of our cuisine. You’ll visit a renowned winery and taste some local specialties…buon appetito!

Naturalistic excursion to discover a hidden gem of rare beauty, the natural pools of Narni, the hill-town which inspired Irish author C. S. Lewis for his classic children's fantasy series The Chronicles of Narnia. Walking along a pleasant route through the woods, the ancient village of Stifone, an old railway and a wonderful cycle path, the emotion lights up at the sight of the natural pools, formed by the river Nera in a narrow valley. Enjoying some Umbrian delicacies specially prepared for you, you could contemplate the clear crystal waters, with turquoise and emerald shades, that caress the rocks enclosed by a wild nature, a real corner of paradise.

Travel deep into the vines through spectacular Assisi Valley in a carriage pulled by two magnificent horses. Experience a wine tour and tastings at a bio winery. Enjoy the relaxed pace while learning of the biological philosophy of the vineyards. A unique experience combining the charm of rural life of the past, with the modern bio consciousness based on the production of the highest quality food in full respect of the local natural resources. Nothing makes us so famous in the world such as pasta! And nothing can make us feel like home while we are far away as a forkful of this dish, so simple and yet so tasty! But do we really know its secrets and regional specialties? In a lovely farmhouse among the olive trees, we will learn the biological phases of the product from the grain to the grind, learn to recognize the various types of flour, the flour processing techniques, the seasons and their crops, and experience the flour processing into typical Umbrian pasta. At the end of the class, we’ll enjoy a delicious plate of pasta!

OPEN-AIR YOGA CLASS

Enjoy yoga in the open air, exploring the body and opening the mind. Breathe deep and let your body guide you. The class is open to all levels of experience, whether you have never done yoga before or are an experienced practitioner. Guided by a certified yoga teacher, you will be taken on a journey gaining knowledge about the body, how it moves and how you can help release tension and stress. Increase your self-awareness and well-being, build strength and flexibility. Learn to relax and enjoy the view of the beautiful Umbria countryside.

By trekking through springs, waterfalls and caves, you’ll enjoy the friendliness of the people, feel the magnetism of the mountains, be at one with the country and at peace with yourself. An experienced guide will accompany you throughout the excursion, providing useful and interesting information on the route and the surrounding landscape. Back from the excursion, you’ll enjoy some tastings of typical local products.

The "torta al testo" is an ancient bread, not leavened, which owes its name to the cast iron dish, the “testo”, on which the dough was cooked. Few gestures of expert and loving hands, and we’ll find ourselves in a world of genuine flavours and aromas, in the very heart of the Umbrian culinary tradition. A simple recipe and yet so precious that will treat your palate! At the end of a class, a delicious tasting of “torta al testo” stuffed with all the best of local norcineria, with a glass of fine wine.

MARMORE FALLS, NATURALISTIC TOUR

The Cascata delle Marmore, with a total height of 165m divided into 3 sections, is the highest in Europe. It pours into the valley formed by the river Nera, an environment extraordinarily rich in cultural, historical and naturalistic heritage. The botanical guides of the park will take you along the ring of the nymph and the meeting of the waters paths, telling you the legend about the origin of the Marmore Falls and providing notions about the most characteristic and curious flora that will fascinate even children. You will then have some free time to walk through the paths of the falls, relax at one of the many lookouts, refresh yourself at the snack bar, buy some souvenirs and take lots of pictures and selfies to always treasure the extraordinary beauty of this place.

Umbria is a natural bike park and provides varied and inviting trails for mountain bikers of all levels. Mountain biking in Umbria is a rare hidden gem for those who want to discover the heart of Italy, its culture, food and wine. There are trails for everyone with impressive views: mountains, spectacular viaducts, deep valleys, medieval villages, wide-open plains, forests…anything a biker could wish for! After a short transfer, our guide we’ll take us to a user-friendly trail through breathtaking landscapes in which smooth ups and downs alternate. The experience ends with a tasting of traditional delights, a panacea for your body and mind!

Have fun with your friends playing an adventurous airsoft game and admire the impressive sceneries of the Monti Sibillini National Park where the combat will take place. At the end of the game, enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.
